It is interesting how much America, and, to a lesser extent, the English-speaking world, tend to view the respective culture as “the world”. I suppose we’re not alone. “Miss Universe” is only selected from Earth women. Not a single Venusian, much less an extra-galactic woman.
Anyway, they did miss a lot of good non-English songs. Then again, the scale would have been enormously unmanageable. I think “Saddest English Songs” might be appropriate.
Sad music is exactly what you need a few times in life :)
Saddest thing about this list is that there is nothing from The Voyces. :(
